JENNIFER KOTTER BIO

Decidedly feminist and ardent movie watcher, Jennifer Kotter makes art that has addressed gender politics, work, power, the environment and, most recently (urgently), plastic. Her art, predominantly photography and 3-D assemblage, has been exhibited internationally. Her assignment photo credits include Village Voice, New York Times, Vanity Fair, Artforum and Art in America as well as numerous gallery and museum catalogs. Born and educated in southern California, she has made New York City her home for over 30 years.
